Good to know
To maintain the perfect cookie dough consistency, store the oat butter at room temperature. This will keep it soft and creamy.
The white patches that form on top of your oat butter can be caused by temperature fluctuations and the fats used. Because we at Naturally Pam don't use additives, we don't use emulsifiers in our oat butter. This can cause the phases to separate and fat to settle on top. In colder temperatures, parts of this oil solidify and turn white. This is a natural process. By gently warming and briefly stirring, you can get the typical Cookie-licious consistency back.
As with all my products, I wanted to find the best possible packaging solution for my oat butter. The Blueseal lid I use has a PVC-free seal, completely free of plasticizers, which can be particularly harmful to you, especially with fatty products like oat butter. Of course, I don't put anything like that in the bag—or in the jar! Learn more here .
Once you've finished your Oat Butter jar, you can easily recycle it in the standard glass recycling container. Please unscrew the lid first and dispose of it separately in your recycling bin. This is the only way to ensure all parts of the packaging are optimally recycled. For information about other countries, please contact your local authorities.
